The mission of the Center for Forest Resource Technology (CT-Floresta) is to produce and transfer technologies to the wood production chain and contribute to the formulation of public policies aimed at environmentally correct, economically feasible and socially equitable forestry production. The Center’s experience, credibility and multidisciplinary approach ensure the highest results in the use of wood and its subproducts.

CT-Floresta has three laboratories (with ISO 9001:2000 certification and tests accredited by INMETRO and REMESP) and one section:

• Wood Preservation and Materials Biodeterioration Laboratory – LPB; 
• Paper and Pulp Laboratory – LPC; 
• Wood and Wood Products Laboratory – LMPD; 
• Sustainability of Forest Resources Section – SSRF.
