Proficiency Test Scheme for Carbon and Low Alloy Steels

Support for the quality of testing and chemical analysis of steels

The Proficiency Test Scheme (PT) for Steels was planned to support academic, industry and service laboratories which perform tests and analyses in steels. This PT is coordinated by IPT’s Laboratory for Metrological References (LRM) since 2014, offering interlaboratory comparisons and proficiency assessment for the most importante chemical analysis, mechanical tests and metalographic studies of steel products.
