Evaluation of wooden structures
IPT is equipped to evaluate wooden structures in terms of biodeterioration caused by fungi and insects, and from an engineering standpoint in terms of their safety.
This work begins with a detailed diagnosis of all the wood components of a structure to evaluate the presence of wood-eating insects and quantify the damage. Furthermore, all the geometric and dimensional characteristics, construction details and structural loads are collected for analysis, to define the risk of the structure and if it complies with the safety requirements of Brazilian or international regulations, as applicable.
