Determination of soil and rock parameters for civil engineering and mining


The development of projects for civil engineering, mining and oil works requires characterization and evaluation of the behavior of soil and rock massifs at the worksite. IPT’s field activities and petrology, soil and rock laboratories qualify it to determine the engineering properties of these materials.

The mineralogical properties of strength, deformability and permeability of soils and rocks, as well as other properties, can be determined to ensure the safety of engineering projects and optimize resources.
